i have recently become aware that there is a serious lack of interpretive dance in somewhere safer, thrown into light after the warholesque prancercise (TM) video that we created.

wondering how we will remedy this, with tech tonight and only 40 minutes to cue up this 2 hr play.

How can you say that, when you saw the costume ideas we discussed? [http://cdn.allaboutdance.biz/image/327x436/c121c_aad_1.jpg] I just thought it would be hard to get a sense of the scope without the live doves and the rigging, so we've been keeping it a surprise. I think the new song based on Barbara Morgan's "slutbag" comments is especially cutting and topical.

I like it! A less anthropomorphized embodiment of America than Uncle Sam. But it could be so symbolic: a heartbreaking pas de trois between Anthony, Adam, and Flag Suit; an angry dance off between Hal and Flag Suit.

On a practical note- will you be bringing puppies to tech? Because I feel like people keep promising me dogs and there's been nary an ear to scratch in sight.

tiffany has provided us with several excellent options re: dogs, although i am concerned about puppies in light of fringe's obsessive fireproofing.
thinking cronuts would be easier, although less pettable. more delicious.
